They went so well we're giving them a permanent home. We're pleased to announce The Terlingua Star Park, grand opening October 1st, 2026!
The same telescopes and laser guided star tour, at a fraction of the cost! We maintain a 20-1 guest to telescope ratio. We are friends with McDonald Observatory, match their prices, and model our program after theirs. We can't compete with their world class equipment and facility, but their ratio is 50-1 and we're a lot closer to Terlingua.
🕗 Begins about 30 minutes after sunset (7:30 or 8pm in October), 2 hour program.
📍 The Terlingua Star Park
👶 Children (0-4) $5, students and seniors $20, adults $25.
🪶 We love pets, but our telescopes don't. Trained service animals only please.
🧥 Dress as if it will be 10-15° cooler than the forecast as you will be outside for two hours.
☁️ 95% refund if you cancel more than 7 days out, 50% in the week prior, and 100% refund if we have to cancel due to weather.
This is our economy tour. Bring your own chair, blanket, yoga mat, or don't - each terrace is 8' across and makes a good seat at the edge. Please note it is concrete. Bring binoculars if you have them. Feel free to bring your own cooler. Please don't be the reason I have to make a policy.

Larger groups and special events present unique challenges and opportunities. Custom Cosmic Experiences are designed specifically for groups that a Classic Tour doesn't fully satisfy.
🏊 Pool party? We can set up a telescope. Starts at $395.
💍 Wedding reception? We'll bring the Astro Lounge with recliners and binoculars too!
🏢 Corporate retreat and everybody wants a star tour? We have a PA system and many telescopes!
